Bfa Leveling to 120

So, let's talk about leveling up your Monk to level 120

First things first.

Spec to level up: If you are doing content quests all the way then Windwalker no doubt, the damage output is very good, and pair that with the Afterlife Monk's ability, there is real sustainability right there.

In terms of talents while leveling I went for a passive talent choice with splash damage in the mix, in order to focus more on the routes and story as things were bound to get to a point where muscle memory would take over.

These were the talents I took for the leveling process...

As I said the choice was made for the quest leveling process, let us go through them.

Level 15 Talent: Here I went "Eye of the Tiger"
The DoT is a nice addition to your stream of damage, but what I was looking to get out of that was the HoT heal, and the fact that is a passive talent, as the use of Tiger palm is constant.

The other possibility for me would be Chi Wave but would require an active upkeep, not my goal for quest leveling, but something to keep in mind.

Level 30 Talent: Movement Tier, picked "Tiger's Lust"
Reason for that is the short window movement and the low cooldown is perfect for jumping from a pack to pack of mobs, and the root/snare dispel that it gives

Celerity is also a viable pick, it is all down to personal preference here.

Level 45 Talent: Power gain Tier - "Ascension"
The extra Chi, energy amount and regeneration where crucial when fighting large packs of mobs, as simple as that, more energy, more chi, more spenders used, besides being a passive talent.

Level 60 Talent: CC/ Survivability Tier "Good Karma"
Keeping in mind that mobs from quests are not particularly smart, and don't need to be stunned, for the most part, added survivability and a way to take down a mob without focusing him was a clear choice.

Level 75 Talent: Tankiness Tier "Inner Strength"
Personal choice here, but the passive effect from this talent is just gold, for questing.

Level 90 Talent: Extra Damage Tier "Hit Combo"
Due to muscle memory and monk mastery effect, the rule of not pressing the same key twice in a row just takes a beefy improvement without costing nothing from my part, as I was already doing my rotation without using the same ability twice in a row.

Level 100 Talent: Endgame Tier "Whirling Dragon Puch"
The sheer amount of AoE damage that this ability provides and the fack that is usable after Rising sun kick and Fists of Fury, means that it allows to have an ability to press while waiting for the cooldown of other abilities to end and because we are taking down packs of mobs the option to deal damage to all of them is just too good to be passed.

This is my choice of talents to level the Monk to 120, in terms of stats, my only rule was the item level, as the agility in the piece is directly affected by it, and it is your most important stat.

What about you? What are your choices when leveling? Quests or Dungeons? What about your alts?
